Leaine’s  key philosophy is to empower her clients to take charge, backed up by ongoing support.

Leaine advocates continuous business improvement for both herself and her clients, and makes sure she keeps up to date with all legislative and other industry changes.  Ongoing training ensures Leaine is kept fully aware of all things Xero, taxation and key software and digital tools.  Having a great network of professional people to provide advice and expertise when required helps too.  Leaine partners with professionals who share her values and passion.

Leaine Jones

Leaine is the Managing Director for Jones Business Solutions and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to this company. With a foundation in the banking industry, Leaine’s subsequent career has included office management, accounting, payroll, property management, and public sector administration, as well as owning and managing her own businesses.

One of Leaine’s key strengths is the ability to analyse systems and implement improvements to achieve greater efficiencies, as well as introducing robust processes to provide clear audit measures and management of risk.  Leaine is a Certified Advisor for both Xero and WorkflowMax, Payroll Certified with PayHero, a Registered Tax & Business Adviser with ATAINZ, and an ICNZB Master Bookkeeper.

Leaine’s role with Jones Business Solutions is to oversee the company operations, liaise with clients and undertake work in the Business Systems service areas.  With a real passion for training and continuing education Leaine launched Smart Books in 2021.  Now a key focus area, Leaine can reach more clients and students with this online learning platform, as well as community classes.

A long-standing and active member of the Institute of Certified NZ Bookkeepers (ICNZB), Leaine is passionate about supporting and collaborating with other bookkeepers, and regularly mentors and provides training for her peers. A multi award winner and finalist with ICNZB, with the 2022 Bookkeeping Trainer of the Year the most recent, she is well placed to share her expertise.

Jones Business Solutions operates as a virtual practice – but with a very local flavour.  Leaine identifies proudly with Hawke’s Bay having attended Dannevirke High School and starting her working life in the region.  Now permanently residing at her lifestyle block out at Kereru she is able to contribute to her community in a variety of ways.

Leaine is readily available to have a no-obligation chat with business owners and professional colleagues to outline our services and provide suggestions on how we can potentially help.  Class style and virtual workshops are made accessible to the Hawke’s Bay community, along with one-on-one tuition and support where required.
