Leaine is the Managing Director for Jones Business Solutions and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to this company. With a foundation in the banking industry, Leaine’s subsequent career has included office management, accounting, payroll, property management, and public sector administration, as well as owning and managing her own business.
One of Leaine’s key strengths is the ability to analyse existing systems and implement improvements to achieve greater efficiencies, as well as introducing robust processes to provide clear audit measures and management of risk. Leaine is a Certified Advisor for both Xero and WorkflowMax.
Leaine’s role with Jones Business Solutions is to oversee the company operations, liaise with clients and manage the Business Systems service areas. Based in Hawke’s Bay, Leaine regularly visits and works with clients from Taupo to Wellington, as well as providing virtual support to clients in other parts of New Zealand.
A long-standing and active member of the Institute of Certified NZ Bookkeepers, Leaine is passionate about supporting and collaborating with other bookkeepers, and regularly mentors and provides training for her peers. She was recognised in 2018 with the Bookkeeper of the Year Award from this association, and a Finalist in 2020 for the Bookkeeping Trainer of the Year.
Jones Business Solutions is currently a team of three. We are well supported and connected in a virtual working environment with a strong focus on providing excellence and professionalism for our diverse range of clients. Working to individual strengths and capabilities we learn off each other, providing a collective strength and diversity to bring real value to our services.
Regularly collaborating on projects JBSL team members become well-versed with dealing with account ‘rescues’ and tricky software implementations. This approach reduces risks to clients as it is not just one person who can capably undertake the accounts work or project.
2020 saw Jones Business Solutions become an Accredited Bookkeeping Business member with the Institute of Certified NZ Bookkeepers (ICNZB).
